Dr. Todd Oswald, Principal 

Welcome to East Coventry Elementary School!

Since 2010, it has been my honor to serve as principal of East Coventry Elementary. Our school community is committed to fostering a positive, supportive culture where every child is encouraged to grow academically while also developing a strong sense of belonging. We believe students learn best when they feel connected, valued, and proud to be part of their school community.

At East Coventry, we cherish traditions that bring us together—such as our One Book, One School program, Outdoor Classroom Day, Field Day, and many other special events that make our school experience memorable. These enjoyable activities are more than just celebrations; they help students build relationships, strengthen school pride, and feel good about being part of our community.

We are equally committed to developing students who understand what it means to be respectful, responsible, and kind. Through our positive behavior approaches—recognized by the state—we intentionally teach and reinforce these important character traits each day. We also take the safety of our students very seriously, knowing that when children feel safe, learning and belonging can truly flourish.
