Library

The East Coventry Elementary School Library is the heart of our school, serving as a welcoming space where curiosity, imagination, and a love of reading come to life. Students in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade receive weekly library instruction where they learn important skills such as locating books, conducting research, and becoming thoughtful, responsible users of information.

In addition to library lessons, all students have the opportunity to regularly visit the library to browse and check out books that match their interests and reading levels. With more than 15,000 books checked out each year, the library plays an important role in supporting literacy, encouraging independent reading, and helping students discover the joy of great books.
